George Wilkins III Indicted for Heroin, Cocaine Trafficking


Youngstown, Ohio — The Mahoning Valley Law Enforcement Task Force (LETF), an area drug trafficking-focused task force, arrested George Wilkins III, 40, of McClure Street in Struthers for large scale heroin and cocaine trafficking.  Wilkins III was held at the Mahoning County Justice Center (jail) after he was arrested in August.

Recently, Wilkins III was indicted by a Mahoning County, Ohio, grand jury on two counts of possession of heroin, two counts of possession of cocaine, and a single count of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity. Wilkins III has an October 23, 2013, pretrial date before Judge Maureen Sweeney in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.

Wilkins III stop was the result of a drug investigation conducted by the Mahoning Valley Law Enforcement Task Force in Youngstown.
