Seventeen People Indicted by Drug Task Force in Youngstown

LETF_LOGOThe Mahoning Valley Law Enforcement Task Force (LETF), a local drug task force, announced the Indictment and arrest of seventeen people that law enforcement and prosecutors say broke into car and committed burglaries in the Poland Township and Springfield Township areas. Investigators believe the criminal activity was fueled by the drug trade.

Assistant County Prosecutor Marty Desmond said members of the ring were breaking into cars, homes and garages from May through August. He said they would either sell the items they stole for cash to buy drugs or trade them directly for drugs.
