Mahoning Valley Crisis Response Team

The Mahoning Valley Crisis Response Team (CRT), a multi-agency specialized team serving most of Mahoning and Trumbull County, Ohio, was established in 2003. The CRT is made up of specially trained local law enforcement personnel from throughout the two-county area.  The CRT is comprised of four units: Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT), Crisis Negotiators Unit (CNU), Tactical Operations Center (TOC), and Tactical Emergency Medical Services (TEMS).

By combining resources,  the CRT saves participating communities substantial capital investment and provides their community members with a robust, professional, and highly trained team if the need arises. The team is available all year and at any hour.
